I’m a 23-year-old assistant art director for a group of three weekly newspapers in Dallas. I graduated from the University of Richmond with a BA in studio art (printmaking and painting) and a minor journalism in 2012. Life hasn’t always been the easiest for me, as it hasn’t for many of us. While I might seem like a very bubbly person, don’t be too fooled. I am bubbly, but there’s some pretty messed up stuff I’ve been through that will occasionally come out in my art. My mottos are “judge not lest you be judged,” and “love everyone.” There’s just only so much time that we have on this earth and I’d much rather spend it loving than hating. If you just read this whole thing, thank you. And as my mother always said, “Does everybody here know I love them?”
